    Mom and Dad are two of the most important people in your life. They might affect you more than anyone you will meet. For example, if your mom loves to read, you might grow up carrying a book wherever you go, just as she does. But many kids can’t get along well with their parents. Some kids aren’t their parents. They always think their parents can’t understand them.

    How can children get on well with their parents? Here are some tips for you.

    1. Spend more time together. Don’t spend so much time playing computer games or watching TV. You can ask of your parents to play with you. Go outside together, or try to play some new games.

    2. Share your feelings with them and ask them for help. Many kids want to get their parents’ help when they’re , but your mom or dad might not know that you are having a problem. Tell them happened to you.

    3. Do your best at no matter what you do. You don’t have to be perfect, but when you do your best, you’ll make your parents proud of you. It makes them happy to see that you’re turning into a great kid. Why? Because it lets them know they are doing a good job.

    4. Put in your parents’ shoes. Sometimes you might have your fights and arguments, but you should find a chance to have a talk with them. Before with your parents, take a few deep breaths and try to see the problem from their point of view (观点). While talking, you keep calm, don’t raise your voice, even if your parents “turn up the volume(音量).”
