A rich old businessman in a small town meets a factory worker, a singer and a fisherman. He gives them three seeds and says, “Bring me flowers in three months. The man with the most beautiful flower can have my money.”
Three months later, the factory worker brings a big red flower. The singer brings a small yellow flower. But the poor fisherman brings nothing. He is very sad.
“I don't know why!” he says. “I watered it every day.”
“You are honest (诚实的)!” the businessman says. “The seeds are bad and flowers will never come out. The money is yours.”
