This year is a leap year. Leap years are years with 366 days, instead of the usual 365. Leap years are necessary because the actual length of a year is 365.242 days, not 365 days, as commonly stated. You might think that Western students are less shy when they meet something new or come to a new environment , but the truth is that pupils in the UK can be uncomfortable too. Being at university can make Britons feel nervous. Everyone finds it difficult to talk to the other gender(性别) at school.
