Write ' Zhalong : A special place ' as a text title and 'red-crowned crane' on the blackboard when the students mention zhalong . Play the flash ' Red-crowned Crane' for the students to watch . Ask students to think over the question “ Why is Zhalong a special place ? ”

Step1. Get students to say something about their favourite birds in pairs . Then ask three students to describe a pet bird in English , the other students can guess what bird it is , the ones who are the first to have the right guesses are the winners .
