    改主动语态为被动语态：

    People are still cutting down too many trees in the USA.

    　　解析：显然这句话要改为现在进行时的被动语态。cut down是词组不能分开或缺少。现在进行时的被动语态的构成形式为：be＋being＋pp. 其中前面的be为am, is, are, was, were.

    　　拓展延伸：根据以上例题的讲解，为方便同学们记忆，我们把各种时态的被动语态编为一个口诀如下：

    　　pp前面各种be; am, is, are现在时；was和were表过去；将来，情态不变be；完成have(has)been；进行时态两个be，前表时态后加-ing.
