population的用法

(1) population常与定冠词the连用，作主语时，谓语动词常用 (单数，复数) 形式。但当主语是“人口的百分之几、几分之几”时，谓语动词常用(单数，复数) 形式。

(2) 表示人口“ 多”用 (much,big/large) ,表示人口“少”用 (little,small) 。

(3) 询问某国、某地有多少人口用 (how much,how large/what) 。
