Mo Yan， 57 ，won the Nobel Prize in Literature on October 11 ， 2012, becoming the first Chinese writer ever to win the award. 1       "If you read half a page of Mo Yan you immediately know it's him”，said Peter Englund, head of the Swedish Academy.
