1. As it is reported, a number of students killed themselves. Some tried to get rid of the feelings of taking drugs, and some joined the groups of troublemakers and turned to crime.

2. A lot of parents send their children to those schools open in the evenings and on weekends. But they only help students to pass exams and never teach students any real sense of the world.

3. Many schools usually have rules about everything from the students’ hair to their clothes and the things in their bags.

4. Though some students do well in their subjects, they are unhappy because they don’t have their own interests and hobbies. They feel heavy pressure（压力） from their parents. Most students are always being told by their parents to study harder so that they can have a wonderful future.

5. Many parents think it isn’t their responsibility（责任） to help their children with the study. They think it is the teachers’ work.

A. Such strict rules are harmful to the feelings of the students. Students also have their own secrets and freedom. The school like that should cancel（取消）this kind of rules.

B. Schools should provide enough time and chances for the students to exercise because if they are unhealthy, they can’t study well.

C. These kinds of schools don’t teach students how to get on well with others, how to tell（区分）right from wrong, how to show love to others, even to their parents. It’s not good for their development.

D. Many of them have tried very hard at school but have failed in the exams and let their parents down.

E. Such students feel that they are hated by people they meet and they don’t want to go to school any longer. So we should pay more attention to them. Let them know they are not deserted（被遗弃的）.

F. Parents should take responsibility to help their children with not only their study but also their life.

G. Making the children just pay attention to their study may have terrible results for many children who are not talented enough. We should encourage young children to develop their own interests.
