         Shanghai and Beijing are both big cities, but Beijing has a longer history (悠久的历史). There are more
    tall buildings in Shanghai, but the streets are not wider (宽的) than (比) those in Beijing. There are much
    more trees in Beijing, and the air is better (更好). There are more parks in Beijing and they are more beautiful
    than those in Shanghai. But there are more rivers in and around Shanghai. The Huangpu River is much wider
