Jack London had a very hardly life. He born in San Francisco on January 12, 1876. In 1893 he become a sailor. For the next four years he fought and working his way around the world. He begged his food from door to door. When that he was twenty-one he decided to try and get an education, but before a few months he left school and went off to take part in the Klondyke Gold Rush on 1897. She hiked in north western Canada, and came back empty-handed.  Two years late he sold his first story. From that time on he made his livings by writing.
