Candy has written an e-mail message to her friend Sandy. Read the e-mail message and answer the questions.
Dear Sandy,
Today is my 12th birthday. I phoned you fifteen minutes ago but nobody answered the phone. I know you check your e-mail every morning so I hope you get this message. I want to invite you to my birthday meal today.
I am going shopping with Amy and Clara this morning. Then we will have lunch. Please join us for lunch if you can.
My birthday meal will be held at McDonald's in Kowloon Bay at 1 p. m.. We are meeting at the entrance to the restaurant at 12:45. We will wait for you for fifteen minutes before we go inside. I do hope you can come. The birthday meal will be a lot of fun. Let me tell you what will happen.
First of all, we will eat some food. We will all share our favourite McDonald's dishes. We will order hamburgers, chicken nuggets and, of course, lots of fries. For dessert we will have hot apple pie and ice-cream sundaes. The food will be delicious!
After the meal, we will each get a bag of little presents to take away with us and everyone will sing “Happy Birthday”. I think we will have a good time. McDonald's is my favourite restaurant and I am so happy that my mother has arranged this birthday meal for me.
I nearly forgot something. At 2:30 p.m., we are going to watch a film together. The cinema is near the restaurant, so we won't have to walk very far. The film will finish at 4:30 p.m.. Afterwards, we will have something to drink at the fast-food restaurant next to the cinema.
I really hope you can join us-it will be a fun afternoon!
Yours,
Candy
