Mr Turner works in a factory．There he drives a truck．He often feels tired and likes sleeping at home．
His wife is a conductor and likes dancing．She often goes dancing if she isn't on duty．He tells her to do some housework，but she doesn't listen to him．Old Mrs Turner has to do all for them．
Once the old woman was ill and had to be in hospital．Her daughter went to look after her there．Two months later she came back，all their rooms were in a mess．She couldn't tidy them and told her son to do it．The young man didn't answer her．She said nothing and had to stay in bed．
It was a Friday evening，Mrs Turner was free．She wanted to go to dance．She began to look for her new sweater，but she didn't find it．She saw Mr Turner watching TV and asked him to help her．The young man didn't do it．
“Our sheet isn't clean，”said the woman．“You'd better wash it tomorrow．”“I'll be busy．”Said the man．“Turn it over!”
“How lazy you are!”said the woman．“I turned it over one and a half months ago!” |
