Peter: It went very well, thanks. Everybody seemed to enjoy it.

Peter: Yes. In the school hall there weren't enough seats for everybody and a few people had to

stand.

Tom: Well, I'm glad that you had a large audience.     63  

Peter: In the first half of the play I was a doctor and in the second half I was a scientist.

Tom: Was it hard to remember the lines?

Peter: No, not really. I just did a lot of funny things.

Tom: Did the audience laugh?
