Computers are useful machines. They can help people a lot in their daily (1)I            . For example,
they can help people to save much time to do (2)m            work, and they can help people to work out
many (3)p           . More and more people learn to use computers.
     Today more and more (4)f             own computers. Parents buy computers (5)f            their children.
They hope computers can (6)h             them improve their studies. However, many of their children
(7)u             computers to play games and watch videos instead of studying. So many teachers and parents
complain that computers cannot help children to study but make them fall (8)b            . So computers are
locked in boxes by parents.
     In some (9)o             countries, even some scientists also hate computers. They say computers
(10)l            many of people lose their jobs or bring them a lot of trouble. 
     Will computers bring people trouble or happiness? It will be decided by today's students themselves.

       My middle school's student rules are very s  1  , but I think they are very good. O  2  the rules is
everyone's duty. Rules keep students from having fights, skipping classes, smoking, and destroying
public property. A number of students' thoughts are very bad. They like to destroy p  3  property. For
example, they break the water pipes in the m 4   room. None of the men's rooms in this school have
intact windows because some students like to break them! These are bad boys, doing evil things!
       But, m  5   of the students can observe the rules. The rules are enforced by punishment.
       F  6  instance, the first time you get into a fight at school, they'll let your p  7  come and bring you
home. The s  8   time, they kick you out of school and you have to transfer to another school!
       I like the student rules at my middle school, because the rules m  9  the school more peaceful and
quiet. They make it a better environment for s 10  .

     Each of us wants to live in a beautiful world, but for many of us that is not p  1   because of pollution. But
everyone in the world should try to do something for our e  2  . A very good way to make the environment
beautiful is making parks. A park in a big city is like an oasis (绿洲) in a d  3  . It p  4   a place for relaxing and
enjoying nature. In China, people in Shanghai and Beijing are p  5   trees, developing many parks and making
green areas in order to make their cities more beautiful.?
    Also, people must stop t  6   trash (废物) all over. Several years ago big c  7   in the U.S.A., such as New
York and Chicago started a program called recycling, and in this program, people collect bottles, newspapers,
and other kinds of trash into special containers (容器). Recycling is also being done in China's cities such as
Shanghai and Beijing.?
    There is a lot of pollution around us now. There is also much work to be d  8  . All of us should r  5   it and
try to p 10  it.
