My mother's father worked in a church when he was young. One day,he built some boxes for some clothes. The church was sending them to an orphanage (孤儿院) in India. On his way home,he reached into his shirt pocket to find his glasses,but they were gone. Then he realized what had happened：the glasses had slipped out of his pocket and fallen into one of the boxes. His new glasses were on the way to India！
Grandpa had spent $20 for those glasses that very morning. That was much money for him then. He was upset by the thought of having to buy another pair. "It's not fair. I've been working so hard. How can this happen to me?" he thought.
