After three day's training,I started work on an environmental project with a group of young people.The accommodation was very basic and we had to build our own place to sleep.This consisted of a simple  bed,a cloth roof and a net to keep insects (昆虫) out.
It was never dangerous there,but it was very challenging (挑战的).There were things that we didn't  think we would manage to do,but we did.I had some of my worst moments there,but also some of my best-it made me feel alive.I didn't miss my home comforts as much as I'd thought I might.We had food,water,somewhere to stay,about three sets of clothes and really good conversation.We were in the most  beautiful place and we had things to keep us busy.We didn't need any more.

14.Crazy about Selfies
Since the 2014 Oscars ceremony selfie (自拍) of Bradley Cooper stormed the Internet,it seems that every one shows great interest. And now people are sharing even their most private moments.TV star Kim Kardashian could be called"the queen of the selfie".She's turned hundreds of her selfies into a book-at every possible moment,in all poses.
If Kardashian is the queen, then you could say Barack Obama is the king. But though Kardashian has nothing to lose by sharing too much, the same can't be said of the US president.Politicians have to be careful with selfies. The photo he took at the funeral (葬礼) of Nelson Mandela divided public opinions. Some felt it made him look like one of us-glad to record a moment with his"mates".Others felt the head of state behaved like a crazy teenager.
Unfortunately for the US congressman (国会议员) Anthony Weiner, his habit of sending his private selfies to women killed his political career (事业).
Being crazy about selfies can also harm your health.Todd Fassler from California ended up in hospital after he found a snake-he tried to take a selfie with it.The animal wasn't interested in the idea and bit him.
Why do we take so many selfies?Dr.Terri Apter, from Cambridge University, told the Daily Telegraph:"We all like the idea of being in control of our image and getting attention, being part of the culture. There's celebrity (名人) culture-unless you're being noticed, you're nobody. You have to get enough attention and show your life is amazing, even if it isn't."
The word selfie was Oxford Dictionaries'word of the year in 2013.But many believe it started much earlier in 1839 as Robert Cornelius,a chemist from Philadelphia, uncovered the lens (镜头),ran into the shot for a minute before running back to cover the lens again. These days, you don't need to run for a photo anymore and soon, you don't even have to spread your arms. Now you are even able to take a selfie by drone (无人机)!Fix your camera onto it,and it will follow your every move.Does it sound exciting to you?
61.What could Kim Kardashian be called?
She could be called"the queen of the selfie".
62.Do politicians have to be very careful with selfies?
Yes,they do.
63.What happened when Todd Fassler tried to take a selfie with a snake?
The animal wasn't interested in the idea and bit him.
64.According to the passage, why do the celebrities take selfies?
To get enough attention and show your life is amazing.
65.Do you think the selfie is good? Why?
Yes,because it is interesting..

18.Scott Kelly,an American astronaut,returned to earth on March 2,2016.He was taller by nearly 1.5inches (3.81cm)when he landed on Earth after his 340-day space mission on the International Space Station (ISS).
His change in height,which lasted about two days,raised the question:What are the effects of a long-term stay in space?
As you probably know,there is no gravity in space.This not only causes difficulties in everyday actions like eating,walking and sleeping,but also problems for the human body.
The first problem is the air.Without gravity,carbon dioxide cannot spread during breathing,but gathers around the body and causes headaches.More than that,human feelings of movement are affected,which could make people feel sick.
The body's fluids(液体)don't work well in weightlessness,making blood flow upward instead of down to the lower legs,and astronauts'faces become fatter than normal.Gaps between bones also become larger because humans cannot stand up straight.The spine(脊柱)can also get bigger in zero gravity.
In addition,human bodies become weaker because of the lack of gravity and space to move around in.Some astronauts said that after they returned,their muscles hurt and their skin became very sensitive(敏感的)Kelly said during his first press conference,"It was almost like my body was on fire wherever I sat or lay or walked."
However,the research into the effects of long-term space flight on human bodies and minds never stops.There are many actions that astronauts can take in space.They can take vitamin D for bone growth,wear special belts on their legs to keep blood in their lower bodies and do strength coaches'exercises.The fans in the ISS also help spread carbon dioxide around."We will do further research."NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said,"I believe it will be meaningful to human-being."
88.Something occured to Kelly's body when he finished his space mission,didn't it?Yes,it did
89.People mayhave a headache,if carbon dioxide cannot spread during breathing.
90.What will happen to astronauts'faces in space?They become fatter.
91.Why did Kelly feel burned when he was sleeping according to the text?After they returned, their muscles hurt and their skin became very sensitive.
92.What can astronauts do to keep fit in space?They can take vitamin D for bone growth, wear special belts on their legs to keep blood in their lower bodies and do strength coaches'exercises.
93.Do you agree that the research is meaningful to human-being?Why?Yes,I think it is helpfulto the astronauts..
