  One day,a woman saw three old men sitting in her front yard. She thought they must be hungry. “Please come in and have something to eat ,” the woman said.

“Is your husband at home?” they asked.

“No，” she said, “he’s out. ”

“Then we can' t come in，” they said.

When her husband came home,she told him that and he asked her to go and invite them in.
