Dear Peter：

Thank you for your concern about what we Chinese students do in our spare time．I’m writing to tell you something about it．

First of all，in our spare time after class，we read all kinds of books in the reading-room．In this way we learn a lot more in the library than in class especially in the field we are interested in．In addition，sports and games keep US healthy-and strong enough to deal with difficult situations．Among all games，volleyball is our favorite．After a long time of studying，doing sports is a good way of relaxing ourselves．Sometimes we go in for social activities together．For example，we go to plant trees in spring．By this means，we can gain a lot of social experience and learn more about nature and work for the good of the society．

Out-of-class activities can do a lot of good，not only to our study but also to our life．So what about your after-class activities，Peter? Looking forward to your early reply．
