    Paul's Heroes （Comedy）★★★
    This is a very funny war movie set in World War Two．Six soldiers （including Sammy Turblow） have to get to Italy to take secret messages to the American army there．During the movie，they dress up as women and fight with Italian workers．You can guess the ending，but it's great fun getting there．
    Twelve Hours（Drama）★★★★
    This is a very good drama with Jack Ross，who plays a hard-working truck driver．His wife becomes ill and he has to find a doctor who can help her．In his travels he meets Dr．Lloyd （Phil Driver） who has found the cure for the illness，but Jack Ross has only twelve hours to get the medicine back to his wife on the other side of America．This is an excellent movie，which is very exciting．

    2．The World Meat Free Day for 2017falls on 12，June，but what would actually happen if the whole world suddenly went vegetarian （素食的） permanently？
    If vegetarianism were accepted by everyone by 2050，the world would have about seven million fewer deaths every year．No meat would lower the chances of some diseases or even some cancers and so save the world 2-3% global GDP in medical bills．Food-related emissions would drop by around 60%．This would be due to getting rid of red meat which come from methane  （甲烷） producing livestock （家畜）-from people's diets．Turning former pastures （牧场） into native habitats and forests would slow climate change and bring back lost biodiversity，including some animals which were previously pushed out or killed  in order to keep cattle．
    However，farmers in the developing world could really suffer．Arid and semi-arid lands can only be used to raise animals as there's no or little water in these places，such as the Sahel land strip in Africa next to the Sahara； nomadic（游牧的） groups that keep livestock there would be forced to settle permanently and lose their cultural identities if there were no more meat．Losing meat also means that we also lose traditions．There's no more Christmas turkey．We would need to replace meat with nutritional substitutes，in particular for the world's estimated two billion-plus unhealthy or weak people for lack of nutrients．Animal products contain more nutrients per calorie than staples like  grains and rice．
    Everybody currently engaged in the livestock industry would need to be retrained for a new career．This could be in agriculture，reforestation or producing bioenergy．Failing to provide career alternatives could lead to mass unemployment and social problems，particularly in traditionally  rural communities．

    A study from Oxford University has found that men are unlikely to be doing an equal share of housework before 2050．Mothers，the researchers warned，will continue to shoulder the burden of childcare and housework for the next four decades，largely because housework such as cleaning and cooking is still regarded as"women's work"．
    The gap between the amount of time men and women spend on housework has narrowed slowly over the past 40 years．But it will take another four decades before true housework equality is achieved，the study concluded．
    The research found that in the Nordic countries，the burden of housework is shared more equally between men and women．In the UK，women spend an average of four hours and forty minutes each day on housework，compared with two hours and twenty-eight minutes for men．This is an improvement from the 1960s，when British women typically spent six hours a day on housework，while men spent just 90minutes every day．
    But progress towards housework equality appears to be slowing in some countries．Dr Oriel Sullivan，a research reader from Oxford's Department of Sociology，said，"we've looked at what is affecting the equality in the home，and we have found that certain tasks seem to be given according to whether they are viewed as‘men's work'or‘women's work'．"
