    So off he went．He followed the dog to a bus stop．The dog stopped and started looking at the timetable．The dog checked out the time，and then sat on one of the seats provided．Along came a bus．The dog walked around to the front，looked at the number，and went back to its seat．Another bus came．Again the dog went around to the front，looked at the number and climbed on．The butcher，by now，open-mouthed，followed it onto the bus．
    The bus traveled through the town and out into the suburbs．Eventually the dog got up，and moved to the front of the bus．It stood on two back paws and pushed the button to stop the bus．Then it got uff with groceries still in its mouth．
    Well，the dog and the butcher were walking along the road，and then the dog turned into a house．it walked up the path，and dropped the groceries on the step．Then it walked back down the path，took a big run，and threw itself against the door．Then again，it threw himself against it．There's no answer at the house．so the dog waited at the door．
    The butcher watched as a big guy opened the door，and started shouting at it．The butcher ran up，and stopped the guy．"Why do you shout at the dog？It is really a genius．"The guy responded，"You call this clever？This is the second time this week that this stupid dog's forgotten its key．"

    1．There's an old phrase saying，"Those who can't do，teach．"But if you have a really teacher，you just might be attracted to following in that instructor's footsteps．
    No time in my life was rougher than going from a small grade school to Texas middle school．All the other boys lived within walking distance of the school．I was the only one who lived across the mountain，in a completely different environment．
    But in seventh grade，we had David Lombrana，who taught about every subject that wasn'maths or science．His brother Vicente，another good teacher，got those two．Mr．Lombrana let us have a love of literature，but it was tough for me，as a fan of history，to read fictional stories．But he introduced us to Jack London，Mark Twain，John Steinbeck and Edgar Allan Poe．He would spend the last few minutes of the day reading a short story of his favorite author：Erskine Caldwell．ll the stories were either funny or interesting，making you not put the story down until you had finished it．But what we didn't realize was that there was a moral to each one．He also instructed us when we needed to hear the truth．Mr．Lombrana followed me and several students to a local high school，where he helped to build a top speech and debate team before leaving for Houston，Texas．
    Nowadays，we keep in touch by Facebook．Amazingly，we both remember those days like they were yesterday．I was fortunate to have more than one good teacher in life，ranging from teachers in grade school to researchers in college and graduate school．These teachers worked hard to make me use all of my potential．But it was Mr．Lombrana who was the first to get me thinking that being a teacher could be something special．
