      When I was a boy, every holiday that I had seemed wonderful. My   1   took me by train or by car to

The Pecan Thief

When I was six years old, I was visiting my grandfather’s

farm in Kansas. Grandpa had sent me into the  36  to gather

     When I was about five years old, I used to watch a bird in the skies of southern Alberta from the
