16.Special Volunteers (SVs)  are individuals who volunteer his or her time to conduct research services,direct patient care,technical assistance,or any other necessary services for National Institutes of Health(NIH).SVs are not financially compensated by NIH for their services nor does the National Institute of Mental Health( NIMH)  provide health insurance.

3."City trees,popularly thought to remove pollutants (污染物)and improve urban life,may also increase the amount of polluted air that people breathe,"says the UK body which gives independent health guidance to national and local government.

NICE does not recommend the government cut down trees in leafy areas to meet pollution limits,but urges planners,local authorities and developers to take into account the bad effects that trees can have on air quality if badly sited or unmanaged.
"It is not always true that trees reduce air pollution.Their effect is dependent on factors including species,time of year and wind direction."it says.
The guidelines also question the unintended consequences of other measures often taken by cities to improve people's quality of life."Road humps(隆起)aimed at slowing traffic and noise barriers alongside busy roads can both increase air pollution,"says NICE.
It proposes(建议)the government consider air pollution at every stage of the planning process.This could extend to where new housing is sited and recommending that developers build new houses with the living room situated furthest away from roads.
