       In our modern life, punctuality is one of the most important qualities that any person should possess. Punctuality means that you are reliable and can be trusted with responsibilities. Besides, it can make a person excellent and outstanding. And if you are not punctual, you may hurt both others and ourselves.

       In our school, some students are often late for class. We know that students’ coming late for class will undoubtedly interrupt the teacher and the classmates. However, some will say “It is only once—I won’t do so again” to excuse themselves. But the fact remains that they will be late now and then.

       In my opinion, we should stick to punctuality strictly. Any promise that we have made should be carried out on time. Without punctuality, friends will leave us, and others won’t trust us, and what’s worse, we will fail in our society. So punctuality is really a very important matter.
