    Here are some examples of bad behaviour：
    •Playing truant （missing school without permission from parents）．
    •Stealing，smoking，hitting，swearing，running，kissing．

    The findings suggest parents are wasting money by spending a lot of money on huge book collections in the hope that they will inspire their children．

    The children were visited three times in a week at their homes．One group heard the same story three times back-to-back each time and another was read three different stories．All had the same amount of new words which appeared the same number of times．

    Those who heard different stories remembered only 2.6．They also noted the‘repetition'group learned at a faster rate than those in the‘variety'group．
    Dr Horst said："We are showing that less is more，to a point（在某种程度上）．Obviously，the more times you read to a child and the more books you have will help them．But you don't need to go crazy and buy every single Thomas the Tank Engine book．Reading the same books over and over again helps．"

    While the most typical gesture of embarrassment is a downward gaze to one side while partly covering the face，a person who feels shame，as distinguished（区别） from embarrassment，will typically cover the whole face，Feinberg said．
    The results were got from a series of experiments．In the first experiment，60college students were videotaped describing embarrassing moments，such as making incorrect assumptions（假想） based on appearances．The college students also participated in the"Dictator Game"which is used in economics research to measure altruism（利己主义）．For example，each was given 10raffle tickets（奖券） and asked to keep a share of the tickets and give the reminder（提示物） to a partner．
    The findings，published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology，showed that those who showed greater levels of embarrassment tended to give away more of their raffle tickets，indicating（﹦showing） greater generosity．
