    Why do they leep so much？Some people think it's because they're lazy．But koalas aren't lazy．They sleep so much because there isn't much nutrition in eucalyptus leaves．Koalas store hardly any fat，so they must save their energy．One way to do this is to move slowly and sleep a lot．
    After a day of sleeping they like to move around and eat just after sunset．They live alone most of the time．Koalas are very protective of their trees．If a koala sees another koala eating in its favorite tree，it might tell the other koala to leave by"barking"at it．Koalas do"talk"to each other．Besides barks，the males make a deep grunting sound．The mothers and babies talk in soft clicking sounds．If they get scared they may scream like a baby．

    Tony Little，headmaster of Eton，warns that boys are being faded by the British education system because it has become too focused on girls．He criticizes teachers for failing to recognize that boys are actually more emotional than girls．
    The research argues that boys often perform badly in mixed schools because they become discouraged when their female schoolmates do better earlier in speaking and reading skills．But in single-sex schools teachers can tailor lessons to boys'learning style，letting them move around the classroom and getting them to compete in teams to prevent boredom，writes the study's author，Abigail James，from the University of Virginia．
    Teachers can encourage boys to enjoy reading and writing with"boy-focused"approaches such as themes and characters that appeal to them．Because boys generally have sharper vision to learn best through touch，and are physically more active，they need to be given"hands-on"lessons where they are allowed to walk around．"Boys in mixed schools view classical music as feminine （女性的） and prefer what centers on violence and sexism，"James writes．

    A private American organization called Population Action International（PAI） did the new  study．It says more than 335million people lack enough water now．The people live in 28countries．Most of the countries are in Africa or the Middle East．

    The Population Action International study gives several solutions to the water problem．One way，it says，is to find ways to use water for more than one purpose．Another way is to teach people to be careful not to waste water．A third way is to use less water for agriculture．
