Possible version:

This passage mainly talks about different uses of internet shopping such as buying goods and electronic books, booking holidays, renting films and so on. It also describes different attitudes to internet shopping.

My classmates have different attitudes to internet shopping. Some think that it is very convenient to shop on line. Others believe that it is unsafe to buy goods with credit cards and it is impossible to check the quality .

As far as I’m concerned, I prefer traditional shopping. It is really fun to go into shops and look at the goods in fresh. We can choose what we really need and have a good bargain. We can talk freely with the shopkeepers instead of a cold machine. I often go shopping with my parents on weekends and we have a very good communication every time. Indeed, everything is available on line and we needn’t even leave our home. However,we may be cheated and waste money. So traditional shopping is better than internet shopping.

Although the dangers of too little sleep are widely known, new research suggests that people who sleep too much may also suffer the consequences(后果).

Researchers at the University of California in San Diego found that people who sleep 9 or 10 hours each weeknight appear to have more trouble falling and staying asleep, as well as a number of other sleep problems, than people who sleep 8 hours a night. People who slept only 7 hours each night also said they had more trouble in falling asleep and feeling refreshed(恢复体力)after a night’s sleep than 8-hour sleepers.

These findings, which Dr. Daniel Kriple reported in the journal Psychosomatic Medicine, shows that people who want to get a good night’s rest may not need to sleep more than 8 hours each night. He added that “it might be a good idea ” for people who sleep more than 8 hours each night to consider reducing the amount of time they spend in bed, but reminded that research is needed to prove this.

Previous studies have shown the hidden dangers of lack of sleep for a long time—for instance, one report showed that people who usually sleep less than 7 hours each night have a higher risk of dying within a fixed period than people who sleep more.

For the current report, Kripke reviewed the responses of 1,004 adults to sleep questionnaires (问卷), in which participants(参与者) indicated how much they slept during the week and whether they experienced any sleep problems. Sleep problems included waking in the middle of the night, waking up early in the morning and being unable to fall back to sleep, and feeling tired with day-to-day functioning(运转).

Kripke found that people who slept between 9 and 10 hours each night most probably report experiencing each sleep problem than people who slept 8 hours. In an interview, Kripke noted that longer sleepers may struggle to get rest at night simply because they spend too much time in bed. As evidence, he added that one way to deal with insomnia(失眠)is to spend less time in bed. “It means that if a person spends too long a time in bed, then they’ll spend a higher percentage of time awake,” he said.

第五部分:写作(共两节,满分25分)

第一节:任务型读写(共10小题;每小题1分,满分10分) 注意:一空一词。

Many students eat their breakfasts on the way to school or in the dinning-room.But some of them don’t really know how to eat well when eating out.

Here is some important advice. The first is to eat less fast food. The most obvious harm of eating too much fast food is weight gaining because of too much fat.Young people and adults are at risk of disease related to weight.

Too much fast food can drag your body down.French fries, for example, were recently found to contain much more acrylamide(丙烯酰胺) than other food. This may cause cancer.Actually, deep fried food all contains acrylamide. So don’t eat it too often.

Soda is another thing you should watch out for.Cokes and other sodas contain a lot of sugar and can slow down a person’s calcium absorption, so it’s best to drink as little soda as possible.

Food in the dinning-room may not be as tasty as fast food, but it’s actually easier to make healthy choices.Human bodies need variety. You can have a dinner that balances lean proteins, vitamins and complex carbohydrates(碳水化合物).In other words, a meal with fish or meat, vegetables and some bread or rice will provide you with most nutrients that the body needs.

Some snacks, on the other hand, will help keep you going until your next big meal.It is natural for teenagers, especially boys, to feel hungry during school time.Don’t forget to take some foods, like whole-grain biscuits or low-fat milk in your school bag.
