I am Martin from Cameroon, 26 years old and one of the foreign teachers in Number thirteen middle school.
Actually, I really want to tell you how fascinating China is for those who enjoy discoveries, traveling and others. You really can’t imagine how much you can do in China without speaking Chinese. Most foreigners have a wrong opinion(概念,看法)about China because of the media perhaps. But I think you should give it a try.
Liuzhou is a small city in Guangxi Province. The city is clean enough and the atmosphere is pure.I guess that makes it a nice place to live. Also the cost of living is cheap. The people are friendly, less crime and all you need to make you feel at home.
I have been teaching in number thirteen middle school for about one year now.Our leaders are great to us(foreign teachers). They always make sure we get everything we need. For the students, they are disciplined(守纪的)and well groomed(整洁的).They will respect you no matter your gender(性别),skin, color or age.Their level of English is also better than you could find in other schools.
In a nut shell(总之),isn’t all this what we need to pull on with a smooth life?I guess so.I bet you would find every reason to feel at home here.
想一想:Do you think it is necessary for schools to invite foreign teachers to teach English in China?
