Step1.Warm-up activities:

Show some pictures of the champions; play the music of the Olympic games.

Brief self-introduction to the students.

 

Enjoy the music and the pictures. They may talk about it at the same time.

 

With the help of the pictures and music, the teacher can make the class active.

Step2.Presentation:

Play a guessing game. Show the picture step by step.

 

Ask what sport they like and their parents like.

 

Ask students’ parents’ job. Tell them today’s topic.

 

Show some pictures to introduce businessmen and their daily work. Then another businessman--Uncle Mike

Get the students to complete a communicative task. Talk in groups of four about “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

教学检测设计点评: 

    我执教的这堂课是JEFCBook2A的第八单元第30课。所面对的学生是初二的学生。粗看这课时,觉得困难不是很大,又是我比较喜欢的话题。当我深入这课时,发现这课总体内容比较散,包括了一篇“My uncle”的作文以及过去时态的复习操练内容。而这篇文章的主要内容是介绍了Lily的叔叔,一个商人的日常工作情况,第二段则用过去时态介绍了Uncle Mike去的不同地方。如何把这些内容以一条主线串起来呢?我找到了一个切入点,以商人贯穿整堂课。

首先我运用了最近的热点,也是学生非常感兴趣的东西(奥运会的歌及冠军的图片)来活跃课堂气氛,同时也能激起学生的爱国热情。而这些内容也是为导入部分做铺垫。

我觉得导入部分还是比较简洁的。通过一个猜人物的游戏,使学生产生浓厚兴趣,而所猜的人物也是大家非常熟悉的刘翔,这样就可以马上讨论到刘翔的职业-a runner。然后就可以自然的过渡到同学父母的职业。我开始预计所叫到的学生总有不少是商人,然而叫了几个都是其他职业,所以我临时加入直接询问有多少人的父母是商人,这样就完成了导课。然后再通过介绍Lily的Uncle,一个商人进入到课文。我觉得导入部分利用大家耳熟能详的人物及近期热点能激发学生学习兴趣,这点还是比较有特色的。

对于文章的处理,我主要遵循了听说读写的训练,同时贯穿了一个任务,即让学生能够带着问题来看录像,这样比较有针对性。同时,为了了解学生对于文章内容是否已经把握好,我设置了一篇文章内容填空题,原文是以第三人称形式,练习我把它改成第一人称,增加难度。

对于过去时态内容的处理,我主要采用文字和图片形式,引导学生用He was…来回答问题。而对于过去时态的操练,我还是以Uncle Mike为例,运用过去时和现在时的对比来使学生加深印象,同时给学生一个任务,即以例句形式来造句。我觉得这也是比较有特色的一点。

课进行到此时,我觉得还应再拓展,所以我设计了一个小组活动。因为本课讲到了商人,所以我想让学生编一个关于商人如何做生意的对话。而以什么话题开始呢?我想到了前面所提到的人物-刘翔。学生对刘翔非常的感兴趣,就让学生扮成刘翔和商人编对话,结果学生积极性非常高,达到了我所想的语言交流的目的,同时所设置的任务也圆满完成。最后一部分的群体活动是最有特色的。

上课过程中,学生兴趣浓厚,课堂氛围好。课上到最后,我和学生都感到彼此心情愉悦。英语课的目的是学生通过英语学习达到愉快的师生间交流,这对他们将来的学习、生活有一定的指导意义,这也是任务型教学的导向。
