flat  是英国英语,美国英语是apartment.

need 既可用作情态动词,又可用作表意动词,如:

I need to find a job. 我需要找一份工作。(表意动词)

that 指public transport。同一句中为避免重复往往用代词that, those, one 或ones 指代前面的主语

5)Maybe it’s in a bag, I’m not sure.  大概在包里,我不肯定。

  maybe 也许,大概;用于猜测或对某事不肯定。

  Maybe Xiao Li lives on the fifth floor, I’m not sure.

也许小李住在5楼,我不能肯定。

  Let’s try another library.  Maybe we can borrow the book there.

  我们到另一家图书馆去试试,也许在那儿能借到这本书。
