One day Edison sold sandwiches on a train. Suddenly the train was held up in a waste land (荒地) because a railroad bridge had been badly destroyed(毁坏). As time passed, everybody in the train felt hungry, so Edison's sandwiches sold well. When only a few pieces were left, a poor old woman came slowly up to Edison.
