1.水污染问题 The environment is becoming worse and worse. There are many kinds of pollution I worry about. The most serious two are water pollution and air pollution, because people can't live healthily with dirty water and polluted air, nor can animals. More and more diseases are caused by polluted air. I think factories should not pour dirty water into the river directly or produce more waste gas. We'd better go on foot or by like instead of by car, because more cars mean more waste gas. We should make our world more and more beautiful. 查看更多

The best holiday of my life was two years ago. My parents, my aunt and uncle, my three cousins and I all went to India together. We spent two weeks traveling around and we visited many interesting places. The night before we left for India, I was so excited that I could not sleep. Our plane left at 1 p.m. and it took nearly six hours to fly to New Delhi. It was raining when we arrived. We were all very tired so we went straight to our hotel.

The next day, we went on a sightseeing tour. I took lots of photos and we all bought souvenirs at the markets. I learned that there is also a place called Delhi which is the oldest part of the city.

On the third day of our trip, we went to a place called Jaipur. At Jaipur we visited the Palace Museum and rode elephants. The elephant I rode was so big that I almost fell off. While my cousins and I were riding elephants, our parents went to look at the pink buildings that Jaipur is famous for.

Some people think that all Indian food is very spicy. But there are some dishes that are not spicy at all. My favourite dish is chicken. It is delicious. It tastes a little bit sweet. We ate rice every day, just like at home.

India is so big that it is impossible to see all of it in one trip. I hope that I can visit it again some day.

The first Earth Day was in 1970.People were beginning to worry about what we were doing to our environment. So they set up Earth Day to tell everyone about their worries. In 2007 organizers in over 150 countries planned over 4,000 big events. But Earth Day is not just about marches(游行) and big events. In the week around Earth Day (22 April) there were many thousands of smaller, local events. These events dealt with environmental problems in the neighborhood. The world Wide Fund for Nature made a list of 5 things that each person could do to save the environment.
Don’t leave the tap running.
Turn off lights when you leave a room.
Turn off your computer every night.
Wash your clothes, and yourself, in warm or cold water, not hot water.
