    Strange things happen to time when you travel. The earth is divided into twenty-four zones on hour apart. You can have days with more or less than twenty-four hours, and weeks more or less than seven days.

    If you have a five-day journey across the Atlantic Ocean, your ship goes into a different time zone every day. As you go into each zone, the time changes one hour.
