         A funny thing happened to my sister Tina last month. She lives in Japan and teaches English. In Japan, people don’t usually wear their outdoor shoes in the house or in school, and a lot of buildings have places for shoes. So her school ahs a special place for shoes.     1.        

         Tina teaches English in the evening. One Friday, she went to school, and she put her shoes in the shoe box—as usual. A Frenchman went to a small Italian town and was staying with his wife at the best hotel there. One night, he went out for a walk alone. It was late.        . Suddenly he felt someone behind him. He thought that it must be the Italian who had taken his watch.         because he wanted to get back the watch.
