Far from a Family Christmas

My Air Force room in Florida was empty and quiet—I was alone. My five roommates were    gone for their __36  ; I had chosen to    37   behind in the camp. My earliest memory of dad is grabbing his hand while we walked together. As I   36   older, I remember my father and I listening to basketball games on the radio.
