Robert Moody, 52, is an experienced police officer. Much of his work involves dealing with __1__，an gang (团伙)problems in the schools of his community. Recently， I flew to Las Vegas to attend a meeting. As we were about to arrive，the pilot announced with apology that there would be a slight 2l　 　before setting down. Behind our house is the start of a fascinating trail (小径). This trail is one of the old roads that wind through untold miles of forest. My 　1 , Beans, and I walk the trail frequently. Normally, Beans sniffs alongside the 2　 to follow the smell of a deer track or 3 some cause known only to him.
