The class teacher thought that hobbies were very important for every child. She hoped that all her pupils would have one, and sometimes she arranged (安排) for their parents to come and see the work they had done as a result.

　　When the afternoon lessons began, the teacher was surprised to see that Tommy was not there. She found it difficult to believe (相信) that he had a hobby.
