　　When you grow up, what will things be like?

　　No one knows．

　　But it is fun to guess．

　　Let's make this a story about you in the year 2014．How old will you be then?Ask your teacher or work it out．

　　Our story will be about one only．Let's make it the birthday of your little boy．His name is Alan．

　　Alan wakes you at seven o'clock．“Happy birthday!”you say．“You'll find your presents in the living room．”

　　You don't have to hurry．Why?

　　Your job starts late in the morning．Machines do most of your work．You don't need to work many hours．

　　While Alan opens his presents, you turn on your colour TV．You watch and hear the morning news．“It's time to get dressed, Alan!”you call, at last．“Come to see the nice new clothes I have for you．”

　　Guess what the clothes are made of．Paper? Glass? Or something we don't even know about today?

　　Alan's birthday breakfast is no time to fix．Why? The food may be all ready to eat．You may eat it like candy．

　　At last you start for work．But you don't go by car．You step onto a moving sidewalk．It moves you along to a train station．There, you take a train．How will it run? On one rail, high over the street? Or will it ride on air?

　　Three o'clock comes．Your work is done for the day．

　　“I'll call home,”you say．

　　Alan answers the picture phone．

　　You and he can hear and see each other．“What shall we do for your birthday?”you ask．“Shall we put on our rocket belts and take a short trip? Or shall we go for a ride in a flying boat?”

　　Alan could say,“I want to ride in a rocket ship! Let's fly to the moon!”What do you think of the idea? Give your story a happy ending!

　　We provide summer English courses and you will enjoy learning about American culture and improve your English．The courses last for 4 weeks．They start at the beginning of July and August．Our teachers are very experienced．They teach English classes for 4 hours a day．You can choose between small groups of 2 or 3,or larger groups of up to15．We provide weekly tests to see the progress you're making with your language skills．We also provide books and other materials．

　　As well as learning English,we want you to experience life in the USA．You live with an American family and take part in American life．You have meals with them and do some activities with them,too．This is the most interesting part of the course．Many families create friendships with the students．Of courses,if you prefer,we can arrange hotel accommodation．

　　Of course,you can do many things in Los Angeles．Every day we have activities after class．You can choose to take trips to Hollywood,Disneyland or the famous beaches around LA．You can also go to various shopping centres,sports centres,movies and concerts．There are also weekend visits organized to San Francisco and other places of interest in California．
