         How's everything going? I am sorry to hear that you hurt yourself last week. I really hope you and Dad are
    in good health.
         I had a talk with Mrs Smith yesterday. She asked me about homework habits. I told her that I did my
    homework while watching soap operas. She said I had to get over the bad habit. She told me I should find a
    quiet place to study, like the library. I also told her that I got nervous when I stood up and answered questions
    in class. She told me that I needed to improve (加强) my speaking skills. She said I could look into a mirror
    (镜子) and practice speaking for 15 minutes every day. I'm going to take her advice.
          What's more, I decided to read more English books and magazines and study with my friends who are good at English. I hope I can get a surprise on my next report card.
