    taking care of us." But how do you find real friendship and keep it?
         The American writer Sally Seamans tells young students some smart ways tofind friends. Sally says finding friendship is just like planting a tree. You

    　　What must you do when you receive a present for your birthday? You have to sit down and write a thank-you note. The words “thank you”are very important. We have to use them very often. We say them when someone gives us a drink, helps us to pick up things, hands us a letter, lends us a book.
