　　I am Sabrina Akhtar studying in a high school and I've noticed that forests are disappearing(消失).

　　You know, forests are disappearing around the world each year. This is because of many different reasons including farming, tourisms pollution(污染), etc. If we stop doing these things, there will be a good future for people of tomorrow.

　　Now I'm writing to ask you to help stop forests from disappearing. You can help by getting shops to stop selling paper made from trees and changing to tree-free paper(paper not made from trees). Flags

　　Flags have existed for over 3000 years. The earliest flags were wooden or metal poles topped with a carving.

　　About 2000 years ago pieces of fabric were added to some poles for decoration. Over the next 500 years the free-flying part of the flag became more important.

　　Every country today has its own flag. Many groups and organisations also have a flag which stands for, or symbolises, the aims of the group.

　　The flag depicts a world map, centred on the north pole. The map is surrounded by an olive wreath, symbolising peace and co-operation. The flag is blue and white.

International Language Holidays

Your group leader will tell us when you expect to arrive and we will meet you at the airport. A private bus will be waiting to take you directly to Clacton.

You will receive information about the address and the telephone number of your host family before you come to the UK. You host family will provide you with a single or double bedroom.

Dress at Clacton Summer Centre is always relaxed so bring only clothes like jeans, T-shirts and sports clothes. Your family will wash your clothes for you. Bring enough changes of clothes.

The weather here can be very changeable. Temperatures will be 20-30 ⁰C. On a cool day temperatures can drop to 15 ⁰C or below, even in summer. It can always rain in summer.

Your family will provide you with all of the meals except weekday lunches. Let your host family know if you have special needs or favourite meals.

My work keeps me in Hong Kong most of the year，but I try to get away for a month in summer，usually in July．Now as you probably know，that’s the main　1　season in Europe．The favorite places for vacations and the famous cities are usually very　2　． But I’m not seeking(寻求) the sun—I can get lots of 　3　in Hong Kong—and I’m certainly not seeking the crowds！So　4　I go on vacation，I buy a Train Pass(a kind of train ticket) that allows me first-class travel on most of the railways of Western Europe．First-class compartments(车厢) are　5　crowded and they are very comfortable．If you’re going on　6　trip, you can take a sleeping train for an extra charge．There are usually dining cars(餐车) in the train．
