One Sunday afternoon, Marion sat at his desk and looked at his bills when his young son rushed in and said happily, “Happy birthday, Daddy. Dad never tried to hug or kiss me when I was a child. And of course, he never said "I love you" to me, 26 . Maybe it's a Chinese cultural thing, or maybe that's the way my dad was.   It was the last day of the final examination in a college. On the steps of building, a group of engineering students were waiting for the last exam. On their faces was confidence.
