With a hat by his feet，a blind boy sat on the steps of a building. He held up a sign which said，" I ' m blind, please help. "

Only a few people put    1   in the hat. A man was walking by. He    2   some coins into the hat. He then turned the sign    3  . wrote some words, put the sign back and left.

　　Some parts of the sea are very shallow（浅的）. But some places are very d__7__ There is one place near Japan. It is nearly eleven kilometers deep. The h__8__ mountain in the world is about nine kilometers high. If we put that m__9__ into the sea at that place, the water is higher than it!
