　　 This is no place

　　 for anyone

　　 who wants

　　 soft hills

　　 and meadows

　　 and everything

　　 green

　　 green

　　 green…

　　 This is for hawks

　　 that like only

　　 the loneliest canyons

　　 and lizards

　　 that run

　　 in the hottest sand

　　 and

　　 coyotes

　　 that choose

　　 the rockiest trails.

　　 It's for them.

　　 And for

　　 hard skinny plants

　　 that do without water

　　 for months

　　 at a time.

Dear Ronny,

　　Years ago you came to me for help. You said, "Grandpa, how could you do so   1.  in your life? You're still active to your life, but I'm already tired of   2. for my life. How can I get the same thing that you've got?"

　　Whether they are greeting each other, talking about an idea, of finishing a talk, people don’t say exactly that they are thinking. It’s an important way that people try to be nice to each other, and it’s part of the game of language.
