    Hundreds of years ago there lived a king in a small country. He liked swimming. When summer came, he always went to another palace by a forest with his soldiers and returned to the capital in autumn.

  One afternoon the king went swimming in a river in the forest and he didn't tell anybody else about it. The water was cool and he enjoyed himself. After that he was going to return to the palace. Just then he heard there was a great noise and saw a large tiger not far from him. He ran away as fast as he could and the tiger didn't catch up with him. But he lost the way. He was hungry and tired when he found a house by the forest. He came in and found there was a farmer in it. “It's your king,” he said to the old man. “I'm hungry now. Bring me something to eat quickly.” The farmer had nothing delicious except four eggs. The king ate up them and felt better.

  “How much must I pay for that?”“Eighteen dollars, Your Majesty(陛下).”“How expensive they are!” said the king. “Are eggs rare(稀有的) here?”“No, Your Majesty,” answered the farmer.“We have only a king in our country.”
