Susan's mother told her not to forget that the next day was Father's Day. Susan had not decided what she would get for her father as a gift. Her mother suggested her to walk down to the shopping center and try to find something.

　　Susan hurried to the shopping center and went into the men's store, she had $ 3 only. She thought that she should get her father something to wear. After a while, she thought that she should buy something for her father to use.

　　Mr Long, the shop assistant, came to hex and asked her what he could do for her. Susan told him she wanted a gift for her father. Mr Long suggested her to buy a nice shirt. But Susan told him she could not offer it, because she only had $ 3. Then she saw a beautiful red and white tie. She knew her father would like it. But it seemed to cost more than $ 3. Anyway she asked Mr Long how much that tie was. Mr Long looked at her, and looked at the tie. Then he took off the price tag and told Susan it was exactly $ 3.
