A little boy invited his mother to attend his school’s first teacher-parent meeting. To the little boy’s disappointment(失望), she said she would go. Norman Bethune is one of China’s most famous heroes, but he wasn’t Chinese—he was Canadian. He gave his life to helping the Chinese people.
