One afternoon I toured an art museum while waiting for my husband to finish a business meeting. I was looking forward to a quiet viewing of the wonderful paintings.
A young couple were viewing the paintings in front of me and chatting with each other without stop. I watched them for a moment and noticed the man’s wife was doing all the talking. I was surprised to see that the man was so patient and could stand his wife’s words, but I still moved on.

On February 14th，2000，my class went on a field trip to the beach. I had so much fun. When we returned to school，my teacher told me to go to the headmaster‘s office. On the way back from work every evening, more often than not there would be a homeless man standing at the exit of the freeway (快车道). He looked to be in his late 40s but was probably a lot younger. He had shoulder length straight black hair and a short beard.
Every day after work I would remember to gather any spare change, and put it aside to give to him if I saw him.
