I went to the SAIC-GM Pavilion (上汽集团通用汽车馆). I found my dream car there. It is a green car. Its name is “Leaf”. Chinese engineers made the car. Its roof is in the shape of a leaf. The roof takes in CO₂ and changes it into electricity for the car.

The Japan Pavilion is full of high technology. The “Wonder Camera” is cool. It can find a smiling face in a crowd. When you’re smiling, it takes a photo of you. I want to invent something like that in the future.

My favorite pavilion is the Germany Pavilion. I watched the Energy Source show. Visitors made a ball swing back and forth (来回摇摆) by using only their voices. It’s amazing! Although we had waited for quite a long time before we entered the hall, I think it is well worth seeing with your own eyes.

I like painting, so my parents took me to the France Pavilion to see the famous paintings. But the French cooks caught my eye. I saw them cook. My mom told me that they are some of the best cooks in the world. The dish they cooked looked like a painting. So, being a cook is my second dream job.

World Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai. It will last from May 1st to October 31st， 2010. The Expo site covers a to­tal area of 5.28 km2.It spans(横跨) both sides of the HuangpuRiver， with 3.93 km2 in Pudong and 135 km2 in Puxi. There are five functional zones markedA B C D andE. Each of them has different functions.

Zone A will host the na­tional pavilions(国家馆) of Asian countries except southeast Asian ones.

Zone B will be home to the China Pavilion(中国馆) and Oceanian(大洋洲的) countries, Pavilions for International Orga­nizations， Theme Pavilions(主题馆)， Expo Centre，and Perfor­mance Centre etc.

Zone C will host the national pavilions of European， American and African countries. A large public amusement park will be built at the entrance of this zone.

Zone D is home to Corpo­rate Pavilions(企业馆), the land is one of the original places of modern China's na­tional industry. So some of the old industrial buildings will be kept and renovated(修复) into Expo pavilions.

Zone E will host stand­alone(独立的) Corporate Pavil­ions， Urban Civilization Pavilion (城市文明馆)， and Urban Best Practices Area.

Zhao Tao, a student from No.2 Middle School, has just come back from Shanghai. This morning, he told us something about his pleasant trip .When he talked about the Shanghai World Expo, he was so excited and so proud that he kept telling about it for several hours. The Shanghai World Expo held by China has been on for more than one month .It started on May 1st, and will end on October 31st, 2010. Its main idea is “Better City, Better Life.” About 242 countries and organizations are attending this expo. Many new products can be seen here, such as we can see the snow in the South Korea Corporate Pavilion(展馆) every day during this hot summer though it seldom snows in Shanghai. And we can see, hear, touch and smell the 4-D films at the Oil Pavilion. How wonderful all these new products are!
China Pavilion is in the center of the expo garden. It is very beautiful. It represents the development of China from ancient time to now. It’s a pride of our China!
Thousands of people from all over the world are coming to the expo every day. And many volunteers are working for them. All the tourists are very pleased and they say that the Shanghai World Expo is the greatest one in the world so far.
However, Zhao said, “The expo garden is now so crowded. If you want to visit it, you’d better go there during the summer vacation.”
