Jack bought a new car. During Christmas break from college, his son wanted to borrow it to drive to a New Year's Eve 1 to be held in Vermont. Jack was 2 the son would hit one of the roadblock(路障)that people set up all over the place on New York's Eve. It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser family had taken it.
“Now I’ll never know what was so valuable to him,” Jack said sadly.
Returning to his office the next day, he found a package on his desk. The return address caught his attention.
“Mr. Harold Belser” it read.
