A great life doesn't happen by accident. It is the result of allocating(分配) your time, energy, thoughts, and hard work towards what you want your life to be. Stop setting yourself up for stress and failure, and start setting up your life to support success and ease. It is the result of using what you get in a creative and thoughtful way, instead of just what comes next. 1.
S—Simplify. A great life is the result of simplifying your life. People often misinterpret what simplify means. It's not a way to remove work from your life. 2.In order to create a great life, you will have to make room for it in yours first.
E—Effort. A great life is the result of your best effort. Creating it requires that you make some adjustments. It may mean re-evaluating how you spend your time, or choosing to spend your money in a different way. Life will reward your best effort.
C—Create priorities(首要事情). A great life is the result of creating priorities. It's easy to spend your days just responding to the next thing that gets your attention, instead of intentionally using the time, energy and money you have in a way that's important to you. 3.
R—Remove distractions (分心). A great life is the result of removing distractions. 4.Removing distractions can be a difficult concept to many people, since they haven't really considered that there is another way to live. A Solemn Moment (庄严时刻)
It is usual at international soccer matches to play the national anthems of the competing teams.
The players line up (列队) in the center of the field and the anthems of their countries are played through loudspeakers.
It is a kind of good manners given to visitors from other countries.
A few years ago, Greece was playing R. O. Korea in an important international soccer game.
As is often the case with international sports events, the game was not played in either team's home country.
It was played in a third, “neutral (中立的)” country.
As the two teams walked onto the pitch, music was played to the crowd over the loudspeakers.
The R. O. Korean players immediately stood to attention (立正).
They all thought it was the Greek national anthem.
The Greek players knew it was not their national anthem, but they stood to attention too.
They thought it was the Korean national anthem.
The spectators (观众) were surprised by the behavior of the teams and wondered what was happening.
Then, as all the players stood to attention, a voice came over the loudspeakers.
Only then did the spectators and the players know that the music was an advertisement for a new brand toothpaste (牙膏牌子).
